FMK Youth Programming consists of 4 components:

  1. Out of School Time (OST) Program

    (Aftercare, Summercamp, and Youth Leadership)

  2. In-School Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Climate Control

  3. Satellite Afterschool Enrichment

  4. Group & One-on-One Mentoring

Out of School Time (OST) Program

Our OST programming was developed to supplement the school curriculum, not replace it. The focus is to teach ideas that are underutilized in a traditional school, such as critical life skills, due to time constraints and lack of personalized attention that the school does not have the capacity to provide.

Our program incorporates academic enrichment, mentoring, cultural enrichment and exposure, and wrap-around services that focus on the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health of all of our youth and families. Staffing is based on a 1:7 staff-to-child ratio and is provided by experienced and well-trained staff.

Our positive teaching practices, proper family support, and open communication is our guarantee that your child is in the right hands.

We are back again for our 3rd Annual FMK Gala to celebrate our continuing commitment to serving Baltimore City.

  • FMK mentors more than 250 youth each year through in-school and after-school OST programs, summer camps, and a variety of other youth initiatives.

  • Our housing program assists approximately 300 families each year in securing permanent or long-term housing.
